I recently moved to the National Physical Laboratory close to London to continue my work on microresonator-based frequency combs.

We are currently looking for postdoc and PhD-students for this research project. Please contact me if you are interested.

Open PhD positions - Research on Microresonator Frequency Combs

About me

Welcome to my personal website with information about my research, publications, etc.

I am a Senior Research Scientist in the Time and Frequency Division of the National Physical Laboratory in the UK.

My main research focus is on a novel principle of optical frequency comb generation in microresonators. The figure on the left shows a scanning electron microscope image of a microtoroid-resonator with a diameter on the order of a human hair. These resonators confine extremely high light energies in tiny volumes, leading to a lot of interesting effects. More details on my research will go online soon in the "Science" section

If you have any questions, suggestions, comments or just want to get in touch with me, please feel free to contact me via email
